Meadowbrook's Loss Control Services

Our Approach to Loss Control:

We take a broad-based approach to the management of risk. We understand that the activities that contribute to employee injuries might also lead to lawsuits. We assist in reducing the potential for employee injuries, which also helps to manage the likelihood of liability litigation and property losses.

Whether you are policyholder or an independent client, we focus our loss control services on your operations and concerns. Our staff has the knowledge and skills of our discipline; you possess the knowledge and skills necessary to manage your operations. You tell us about your business and we share with you what we know about ours. This exchange of information allows us to target our loss control services to your operations and increases your ability to identify and manage your exposures to loss. This approach differs significantly from the traditional insurance company inspection of your premises. Unlike many insurance company inspectors who look at your operation primarily to cite deficiencies, we work with you to develop a unique and comprehensive program to control your losses. If we visit your premises and observe conditions that present an exposure to loss, we discuss them with you. We ask about your operations so that we understand why the conditions exist. Then we help you to develop a plan to correct problems. While this process may include formal recommendations, it may also include training your employees and providing sample policies and checklists to improve the safety of the work place as well as the quality of your products or services.

Loss Control Services include:
