The primary function of the Sr. Program Manager- Underwriting is to manage internal and external functions to assure program profitability and protection of corporate assets, effectively implement measurable goals and accountability to achieve the corporate return on equity models, manage any direct reports and effectively coach their development and measure their contribution to MIG, manage the overall relationships between both internal/external customers and provide effective communication with all parties, initiate, monitor and achieve both premium and expense budgets, identify, develop, initiate and monitor program action plans, lead designated special committees/projects, provide technical support and instruction to other MIG associate on specific topics and to lead and participate in underwriting and administrative audits of managing general underwriting partner.

The Sr. Program Manager- Underwriting must have at least 10 years Underwriting experience, a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, previous insurance background in marketing, agency management, captive management or reinsurance, proficient in Microsoft office software applications, insurance study or designation preferred and moderate travel is required.
