We are currently looking for full time and part time Policy Services Underwriting Technicians, to join our Westerville, OH branch office.

Position Summary:

Policy Typing and entry of financial and policy information into CIMS and DocuCorp. This position involves supporting our Underwriting department in policy and endorsement typing, policy processing, premium finance and communication with underwriters and our agency force.

Essential Functions  
  1. Types policies and endorsements with the DocuCorp and COL systems
  2. Daily entry from policy declaration page and rating worksheets into systems
  3. Each policy is checked during the entry process for correct forms. Rating is checked and previous policy are reviewed during the entry process
  4. Successfully completes basic job specific training as defined within the Policy Services Training Matrix within the first six months of employment
  5. Completes 30-35 items per day on average
  6. Works effectively on the assigned team
  7. Checks, analyzes and classifies or alphabetizes materials
  8. Conducts limited research when necessary.
  1. High School Diploma or equivalent is required
  2. Excellent Microsoft Office skills (including Word, Excel, Access and Outlook)
  3. A minimum of 2 years prior experience in data entry, administrative and/or clerical role
  4. Excellent communication skills
  5. Detail oriented
  6. Flexible and able to handle multi-task assignments.
