MEADOWBROOK INSURANCE GROUP, Inc. (NYSE:MIG) is a publicly traded company that employs approximately 1100 associates in 34 offices throughout the United States and Bermuda.  Meadowbrook operates insurance agencies, a risk management company that provides services to self-insured groups, funds and pools, and operates 4 domestic and 1 foreign insurance companies.  We are currently looking for a full time Regional Marketing Representative to join our Andover, MA branch office.

Essential Functions  

1.     Call on existing and new potential independent agent partners in assigned territory

2.     Promotion of and education about TPA product set including, but not limited to:

a.     First dollar Workers Compensation business

b.     Association sponsored insurance programs

c.     Self-insured groups

d.     Alternative market products


3.     Production of submission flow in all market segments within territory, commensurate with individually established goals

4.     Participate with agency producers in direct sales to insured prospects as necessary

5.     Perform other duties and projects as assigned.



1.     Understanding of insurance products, including SIG structure and benefits

2.     Proven insurance sales experience, preferably with alternative market products

3.     Superior communication skills

4.     Established relationships with insurance agents in target area

5.     Ability to positively interact with all levels of an organization

6.     Demonstrated ability to close on sale opportunities

7.     College degree or equivalent

8.     Insurance designations highly desirable

9.     Computer skills geared to marketing and media communication a plus
