The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and maintaining Adobe LiveCycle Designer forms and assisting with the continued success of our acclaimed agent portal.

We are currently looking for a full time Enterprise Application Developer to join our Westerville, OH branch office.

Essential Functions  


  • Create and maintain Adobe LiveCycle Designer forms.
  • Participate in project planning sessions with project managers, business analysts, quality assurance analysts and team members to analyze and thoroughly understand business requirements; design implement solutions in accordance with best practices and guidelines; provide accurate estimates as requested; test and troubleshoot deliverables; plan and schedule workload to meet assigned targeted dates.
  • Participate in code or form review sessions, providing feedback, and ensuring best practices and guidelines are followed.
  • Document tickets/work orders, adhering to documentation standards; develop test plans, system documentation, technical specifications or other technical documentation as required.
  • Research and stay abreast of current technology trends, functionality and implementation relevant to the corporate applications and technology; maintain broad and deep technical knowledge; research, recommend, and implement best practices and guidelines; research and recommend software tools to management.
  • Communicate both orally and in writing with business analysts, project managers, IT team members, associates outside of IT, outside vendors, and others regarding project/ticket statuses, notifications or general inquiries. Ability to write proposals or make technical presentations to team members regarding new technology and processes. Must be able to function in a team-oriented atmosphere.
  • Maintain an understanding of insurance business functions associated to the corporate applications.
  • All of the above duties will be performed under limited supervision.


  • Experience with Adobe LiveCycle Designer and Adobe Forms Server preferred; 3+ years’ experience with report design and development (e.g. Crystal Reports, Reporting Services, etc.) considered.
  • Experience with SQL Server, including stored procedures preferred
  • Experience with XML, XSD, JavaScript, BizTalk are a plus
  • Experience with all aspects of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
  • The ideal candidate must have either a BS Degree in Information technology or equivalent experience.
