We are currently looking for a full time Enterprise Application Developer to join our Westerville, OH branch office.

Essential Functions  

 JOB FUNCTION:      To implement, maintain, and support company software applications using a wide range of technologies, primarily within the Microsoft stack.  The successful candidate will work in a collaborative environment, providing feedback and ideas freely; have a passion for learning both technology and business functionality; be passionate and driven with responsibilities, having a strong desire to contribute to the overall success of the IT and corporate strategies.


  1. Design, develop and support software applications
  2. Implement code, in accordance with best practices and coding guidelines
  3. Research and stay abreast of current technology trends, functionality and implementation relevant to the corporate applications and technology
  4. Gain and maintain a thorough understanding of insurance business functions
  5. Identify and reduce development risks, performance problems and downtime
  6. Maintain a high level of customer support
  7. Ability to interact with others in a professional manner
  8. Attendance




  1. The ideal candidate must have either a BS Degree in Information technology or equivalent experience
  2. Solid knowledge with web and Windows application development, database development/design and design of complex multi-tier applications
  3. Strong ability to quickly learn architecture and code of existing applications
  4. Experience and/or desire to convert legacy applications to a new technology and architecture is a plus
  5. 3-years with .Net, ASP.Net, ADO.NET, C#,  XML, JavaScript/JQuery
  6. Experience with Entity Framework and MVC ideal
  7. 3-years with SQL Server including stored procedures, functions and schema design
  8. Experience with Microsoft Team Foundation Server (TFS), BizTalk, IIS, Adobe Live Cycle Designer, Web API and VB6 (only for the sake of converting to .Net) are a plus
  9. Sit, stand, walk/ambulatory
  10. Ability to lift 10 pounds
