Job Function: To provide technical and administrative support to the Underwriting Department.
1. Perform underwriting tasks as determined by the supervising underwriter, including new/renewal business screening, renewal and endorsement underwriting, referring exceptions to the supervising underwriter.
2. Refer business beyond delegated authority to supervising underwriter
3. Manage diaries and follow-ups for information on accounts
4. Provide assistance to Loss Control and audit reports
5. Rate new and renewal applications as required
6. Prepare endorsements
7. Perform other duties as requested by management
