We are looking for a full time Quality Control Analyst to join our Westerville, Ohio office.

Essential Functions  
  1. Participate in project planning sessions with project managers, business analysts, quality assurance analysts and team members to analyze and thoroughly understand business requirements.
  2. Develop test plans including test cases and test procedures.
  3. Plan and schedule workload to meet assigned targeted dates.
  4. Provide in-depth analysis and diagnosis of identified software/system defects for development review.
  5. Work closely with development teams on analysis, re-work and resolution of identified product issues.
  6. Communicate both orally and in writing with business analysts, project managers, IT team memebers, outside venders, and others regarding project/ticket statuses, notifications or general inquiries.
  7. Ability to write proposals or make technical presentations regarding new technology and processes.
  8. Must be able to function in a team-oriented atmosphere.
  9. Maintain a thorough understanding of insurance business functions associated to the corporate applications.

 

Requirements  
  1. The ideal candidate must have either a BS Degree in Information technology or equivalent experience
  2. 2+ years experience in software testing 
  3. Experience with regression testing software a plus
  4. Working knowledge of SQL syntax a plue
  5. Experience with all aspects of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
  6. Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously 
  7. Ability to work independently, set priorities and meet deadlines
  8. Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills
